Anger Warning Signs

Recognising the early signs that anger is getting out of control is very important.
These signs are easy to identify and as soon as you recognise them you should immediately begin the coping methods you have learned in order to calm down and reduce the effect an unhealthy episode may have.
  • Fast Heart Rate
  • Increased Breathing
  • You Feel Tense
  • Tapping Feet/Fingers
  • Clenched Jaw/Fists
  • Getting Hotter
  • Pressure In Sinus
  • Body Starts To Sweat
There are other reasons why your anger starts in the first place though, and it is these underlying reasons that will determine whether you become moderately angry, or that very problematic ‘seeing red’ Anger.
